Historic wood restoration
Tri-state · Established 2010 · EPA RRP-certified
"The original wood of your home is not replaceable.
It carries the stories of its time —
and the soul of the structure that no new wood can."
— WoodRestora philosophy
What we do
We restore wood. We do not replace it. We do not generalize. We do not subcontract to handymen.
Original wood entry doors, interior doors, French doors, transoms, and fanlights. Brass and bronze hardware included.
Sash windows, double-hung, casement, and storm window restoration. IGU reglazing and weather-tightness.
Plank floors, parquet, engineered wood, and period species. Stripping, repair, finishing — hand-rubbed oil traditions.
Treads, risers, balusters, newels, and handrails. Structural repair and refinish for grand staircases.
Our methodology
Refined since 2010. Three tiers matched to project condition. Pricing transparent, line by line.

For wood in sound structural condition that needs cosmetic restoration. Stripping, sanding, finish renewal.
Structural + cosmetic
For wood with damage or deterioration. Epoxy consolidation, joinery repair, finish renewal. Standard tier for landmark homes.
Heritage-grade conservation
For irreplaceable elements requiring conservation-level care. Documented process, reversible treatments where appropriate.
